PVA Backlist

From 1982 through 2005, the Vernacular Architecture Forum published ten volumes of Perspectives in Vernacular Architecture as anthologies of peer-reviewed essays based on papers delivered at its annual conferences. Publishers were University of Missouri Press followed by University of Tennessee Press.  Beginning with Volume V, titles were added to the individual volumes.  Starting in 2005, Perspectives in Vernacular Architecture changed to a journal format with content drawn from general submissions as well as conferences, and was published by Washington & Lee University.

Full text for back issues of Perspectives in Vernacular Architecture have been archived through JSTOR and are available in many research libraries.
